Giving to the Museum

Looking to make a donation to the Brant Historical Society? There are many ways that you can help!

Making a memoriam donation is a meaningful way to acknowledge the loss of a loved one or to send sympathy to someone who has. Making your donation is easy, forward your cheque to the Society with the name of the deceased and the next of kin, or click on the Canada Helps.Org link on this page.

Make a cash gift donation by using the Canada Helps.org link found at the bottom of this page, or by forwarding your cheque (we also accept major credit cards) to the Brant Historical Society. You can also recognize someone’s special occasion (birthdays or anniversaries), and we can help!

Consider becoming a monthly donor to support the programs and services the Society provides to Brantford, Brant County and Six Nations. Donations can be automatically debited from your Bank Account or Credit Card.

Consider a gift of securities like capital gains on stocks, bonds or mutual funds all may receive special tax considerations when gifted to a charity.

Consider a planned gift, such as life insurance, annuities, and property and remainder trusts ways that you can support the Brant Historical Society. These forms of gifts can play an important role in estate planning.

To find out more about our planned giving program, contact our Executive Director, Treasurer or consult your own financial advisor.
